So after being in one wedding and waiting one wedding recently, I have come to the conclusion that weddings are crazy no matter what. It is just a fact of life.
Saturday evening we hosted a wedding here at the Word of Life Inn, and well, five and a half hours for one meal (the reception) is just insane!
Running around, being glared at by photographers because you are in the way, pulling your hair out cause the bride wants iced tea, and well, we ran out, hopping electrical cords while carrying trays with 13 drinks, dodging kids and girls in white dresses, guys in suits and the grandmother of the bride…..YeEah!
So I am glad that I don’t have to that again anytime soon. No dinner tonight, and day off tomorrow will be sooo nice.
Peace out ya’ll, I am going to catch a quick nap before I have to be at work in half an hour.
Craziness. Not enough sleep to go around.
