Nigh Upon the End December 31st, 2005

Phil Martin

So, I have had a few interesting days. Andrew and I have been staying up till 0430 most days watching movies. He on one couch, myself on another, with the DVD’s passing between. I have seen “What Dreams May Come”, “Swing Kids”, “Cheaper by the Dozen”, “Alien VS Predator”, and “Rundown”. Also seen during other hours are “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” and “War of the Worlds”. All pretty decent movies. I really liked “Swing Kids” and “Alien VS Predator”.

So enough about movies.

Zach left early Tuesday bound for Dallas and Brigette. Boy, was he excited. Monday he was practically vibrating with excitement.

Went bowling again on Tuesday and did better, though I am still under 100. Unfortunately, back at WOLBI I may not have a chance to bowl again for some time, so I may again be cursed with little practice.

We tried to go see Narnia yesterday, but the showing was sold out! I have never seen a movie that has been out for several weeks be sold out at 1330 on a Thursday, but then, truth is stranger than fiction. So we will try again on Saturday sometime.

Also, my ride back to school is uncertain. Word on the street is that she is trying to secure her parents permission to drive back to school. Sigh, curses upon stubborn over-protective parents. In the meantime, the Ferris’ may be able to drive me to a halfway point where my brother could pick me up. At any rate, I may be doomed to return to the Christian Concentration Camp. Such is my fate it seems.

Also we have picked up more college students from Messiah, Jordan and Abby, and Merriam, all friends of Andrew and grads from UKA. So hangin wit dem is cool.

all for now

peace yall
