Reconnecting

Been stuck there under the gun
Tired of living like the prodigal son
Everything has come undone
And left me wanting
I’m naked for the world to see
So hungry on the inside to believe
Come down and direct my feet
Start me running

I’ve been outta touch
But I’m reconnecting
To You
I’ve had enough of my way
And I’m tired of rejecting
I realized it was all a lie
So I climbed down from the edge
I’ve been outta touch
But I’m reconnecting to You

I can feel You under my skin
Wanna have You light me up again
Tell me where I should begin
Keep me turning
Power comes from Your extension
The words You speak are my intervention
Give me sight to know Your intention
Light me
I’m burning

I’ve been outta touch
But I’m reconnecting
I’ve had enough enough of my way
And I’m tired of rejecting
I realized it was all a lie
So I climbed down from the edge
I’ve been outta touch
But I’m reconnecting
To You
I’m reconnecting

What are you connected to?

Wunderkind April 15th, 2006

Hey everybody!

I watched Chronicles of Narnia last night with my brother, his girlfriend, and their friends. Forgot how amazing that movie was. Everytime Aslan goes to the Stone Table, I see “flashbacks” of Christ on the Cross, dying for the traitor called me. I can’t explain it, but I do.

Spring is here, presumably to stay, with nice 60-70 degree weather. Can’t express how happy this makes me. OK….it makes me REALLY HAPPY!!

And a really cool movie comes out on the 25th of May, X3: The Last Stand. The latest and perhaps last of the X-Men movies (though there is rumor growing in the East of a fourth film, or series about several of the X-Men individually). This one will feature that which we have been waiting through two movies and six years to see, the mutant vs. mutant battle for supremacy on earth. One one side you have the inscrutable
Xavier and his valiant X-Men: Cyclops…Storm…Iceman…Wolverine and the Beast; and on the other, the hate-driven malevolent Magneto and his Brotherhood of Mutants including the shifty Mystique, Pyro, Juggernaut, and the Dark Pheonix. All the previews look amazing and I can’t wait to see this one.
Classes are progressing well, too. We have a long weekend due to Easter and I am hanging out at my brother’s place at the moment.

Trust you all are well.

Peace.

The trouble with weather forecasting is that it’s right too often for us to ignore it and wrong too often for us to rely on it.

Rumblings on the Horizon April 11th, 2006

Hello there.

Sorry I haven’t updated recently. This place has more FireWall’s than Uka, and anytime the collective watchdogs detect something wrong, the internet service immediately shuts off. The human counterparts must then check every computer for the offending IP address before they can restart internet service. So yeah, its been annoying.

But I myself am doing well. We had our first intramural softball game, and I was able to get a good solid hit a couple good defensive plays.

The weather here is finally spring like, at 60 (F) today. I played two hours of basketball with some guys and one girl. Was alot of fun, but I realized how out of practice I am at BBall. I did nail one shot and blocked a few.

My ministry does not include a trip to NYC, i found out. But I can totally live with that.

Not much else new, classes going well. Just finished a week with Answers in Genesis, all about Creation and correct worldview. Interesting, if repetitive for me, considering all the Creation research that I have done.

Umm, so yeah, that’s it. I hope ya’ll are rockin to Heaven’s rythmn.

Peace.
