Thinking Differently

well, I am alive and well in Elizabethtown, PA.

I have been enjoying life on break away from WOL, and would write more, but my girlfriend keeps me pretty distracted.

I will probably write more upon my return to the Institute.

it is my birthday, and I am celebrating it with my wonderful God-given Angel.

I am now 20 years old, and have passed from childhood, through my teen years, and am now an adult.

This is the best birthday in awhile.

Praise my God and my King.

shadows slant as the sun
moves across these prison walls
he walks his paces and walks again
sinking to his cot and rising again
he pounds the iron walls in frustration
days come and days go
without count and number
how long?
where is his end?
is there a deliverance?
falling into the corner
he sobs again
running out of tears
that will flow again
his crime and his punishment
are the love he showed
and the kindness freely given
for this they beat him and mock
the world does not understand
forsaken and all alone
he waits in the dungeon
locked in a foreign land

footsteps come

I have learned to be content with God. Content with where I am, at the Bible Institute, Content with who I am and what He has done in my life, content with being a boyfriend and enjoying life with my Angel, content with going to Quebec instead of Hungary for Missions Reality, content with so many things.

God is moving in great ways in my relationship with Hannah, and is growing the both of us.

God is making me more dependant on Him, and is teaching me the pleasures of simply obeying Him.

Snow Camp is done with, amazingly. It ended in spectacular fashion. We brought down the house (literally, driving one of the subwoofers off the wall with our bass) and I was on a team that made a spectacular video of the weekend. Tech team ran over a snow man, and we had a blast. Life is fun, and full of new things.

I am happier than I have been in a long time.

And will be even more happy in six days, when i get to spend spring break with my girl!!
